  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup self rising flour (sifted)
  • 1/3 cup 2% milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a deep 8 inch round cake pan and line base with parchment paper.
    2. Beat 5 tbsp butter, vanilla extract, sugar and egg until fluffy. Add flour and milk and mix until smooth. Transfer to prepared pan and bake for 30 mins. Transfer to a wire rack and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
