Had to add some water in it cuz it seemed like it had way too much stuff on them but they were tasty and warm

First time I made these I used Honeycrisp apples, and they were great. The second time I used Granny Smith, and they turned mushy in just 15 minutes—they needed some sugar too. Maybe the GS apples are/were more watery? I dunno, but I’ll try to strike the balance next time.

For the simplicity of this recipe; it was great! After reading other reviews about needing more flavor; I added a pinch of salt and a small bit of lemon zest. It is a quick and easy dessert!

This was a simple amazing dish. I added apple pie spice and chopped pecans. It was delicious. I will make this again . Yum.

It was amazing. I added a little pinch of flour, cinnamon and brown sugar and let it sit by itself on the fire for 5 extra minutes after stirring occasionally. I loved it!

Delicious! I made some tweaks to suit my tastes and dietary needs, but that’s part of what makes this a great recipe, it’s versatility!

It was pretty good, I substituted the brown sugar with white sugar since I lacked some, and used 5 regular sized apples and added 1/3 to the recipe and it came out good still. I think the brown sugar would’ve made the glaze over it thicker and richer but its still just as sweet!
