- 2 stalks scallion (green parts, finely chopped)
- 1 tsp. chicken (powder)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground white pepper
- 160 mL boiling water
- 5 1/2 floz chicken broth
- 1 tsp. cooking oil
- 100 grams unsalted peanuts (roasted, 1/2 cup)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 chilies
- 1 Tbsp. sambal oelek
- 150 mL water (5 fl oz)
- 1 Tbsp. tamarind paste
- 2 Tbsp. palm sugar (or coconut sugar, or more to taste)
- 1 Tbsp. kecap manis
- 1/2 tsp. salt (or more to taste)
- chili sauce (Your favorite, I use sriracha chili sauce)
