- 1 tsp. oil
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1 tsp. cumin seeds
- 1 pinch asafoetida
- 1 tsp. black gram (/ Urad Dal)
- 1 tsp. turmeric powder
- salt (to taste)
- rice (1. Serve it with sambar, but perfectly pairs up with Kara kuzhambu, Puli Kuzhambu, rasam rice as well.)
- 1 Tbsp. coriander leaves (fresh, makes this recipe much more flavorful.)
