Description
Inspired by the traditional Portuguese Bola de Carne (bread with meat), this Chorizo and Fennel Loaf is full of savory flavor. An unleavened bread, this Chorizo and Fennel loaf does not require a rising agent. Made with olive oil instead of butter, this savory loaf is heart healthy. Spicy chorizo and fennel add a burst of flavor to each slice of this bread. Similar in texture to cornbread, this bread can be served as a tasty side or alongside a green salad.

- 250 mL milk
- salt (as needed)
- 500 grams flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. fennel seeds (ground)
- 2 chorizos (chopped)

Directions
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- In a blender or food processor, add the eggs one at a time, while beating them.
- Add the olive oil, milk, salt, and beat for a little longer.
