- 3 cardamom pods
- 1 dried red chilies
- 1 fresh bay leaf
- 1 Tbsp. ground coriander
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. ground turmeric
- 400 grams plain flour (2 2/3 cups)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. bicarbonate of soda
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. ghee
