- 1 tsp. dried mango powder (½ or ,amchur powder)
- 1 1/2 cups water (1 to,to be added later)
- salt (as required)
- 1 green chilies (hari mirch ,- slit)
- 1 tsp. garam masala (powder ,or chole masala)
- 1 tsp. cumin seed
- 1 bay leaf (large tej patta ,indian)
- 2 inches canela
- 3 clove (2 to)
- 2 green cardamom
- 3 black peppercorns (2 to)
- 1 onion (medium size ,chopped)
- 2 tomatoes (medium size ,chopped)
- 1 inch ginger (chopped)
- 5 garlic cloves (4 to ,medium sized,chopped)
- 1 green chilies (chopped)
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (maida)
- 1/3 cup sooji (fine ,rava or fine semolina)
- 1/2 Tbsp. oil (or ghee)
- 1/2 Tbsp. fine granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt (or as required)
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda (¼ or)
- 1/2 cup curds (yogurt)
- water (as required for kneading)
- oil (for deep frying as required)
