If you want something that tastes just like a cow’s milk pudding, this isn’t it. The first time I tried avocado pudding, I did not love it but the more I ate, the more I could appreciate it as a chocolate dessert made with avocados. I am prone to adding a bit more melted chocolate and honey than is called for but now I am a total lush. Forget a few spoonfuls, I will eat a whole avocado’s worth!

So rich and absolutely dreamy. Needs serving in really small dishes or espresso cups because a few spoonfuls is enough. Of course, you'll need another few spoonfuls an hour later if someone hasn't got there first. You can definitely taste the avocado and you get a lingering aftertaste, so if you don't like avocado then this recipe probably isn't for you. I added slightly more honey to sweeten it a little although this is never going to be a 'sweet' recipe. I'll definitely make it again, especially as I accidentally left it in the fridge at work (it stores well in an airtight container) and it mysteriously 'disappeared'.

Great! Smooth and comforting mouth feel. Lucious taste, one of those things you hide in the back of the fridge so you don't have to share the last portion.

I made this when my son had his tonsils out. He is allergic to dairy,eggs and nuts. I love Avocado but my whole family thought it was awful. So bad that it almost ruined eating Avocado's for me. For about a year just eating an Avocado made me taste the weird taste of this pudding. Later I found out that JELLO's basic chocolate pudding and vanilla puddings do "NOT" contain any dairy,egg or nuts, as long as you don't add cows milk and add things like coconut milk or other milk alternatives (just not soy).

Granted I added Chia Seed and yogurt for added health benefits but it was the avocado and chocolate which added the awesomeness- wow!
