I am definitely not an experienced baker, and this was by far the most ambitious baking project I’ve ever undertaken. That being said, the cake turned out perfect after 55 minutes in the oven (gas). It has a nice „crust“ and is very moist and chocolaty from the inside, with a perfect texture. My only regret is that I didn’t follow the other reviewer‘s advice to cut the sugar in half; the cake is very, VERY sweet.
