- 2 cups coconut sugar
- 2/3 cup Dutch-processed cocoa powder
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/3 cups almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 cup brewed coffee (/espresso or additional milk/water)
- 1/2 cup avocado oil (or neutral cooking oil)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- coconut oil
- vegetable shortening
- 2 cups chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate*, plus extra for chocolate curls. Use dairy-free if needed)
- 2/3 cup coconut cream (or full-fat canned coconut milk)
- 8 oz. cream cheese (dairy-free or regular, or mascarpone, at room temperature, optional but recommended!)
