I ended up using more dates as it doesn't say to mince the dates before measuring and the crust wasn't holding shape. Getting the dates to be smooth in the chocolate was a challenge. I ended up moving from the food processor to my nutri-bullet. The filling was more of a fudge consistancy rather than pie filling, but it satisfied my chocolate craving and my husbamd even liked it.

this was great for being healthy. i used choc. baking squares instead of choc. bar. i added a little agave since there was no sugar in the squares. this was very rich. the crust was great and didnt bother me that there was no real breading. this was a good thing to try when first eating better. i also like how fast it was with no cooking and just tossing it in the fridge.
