    It turned out really well! The cupcakes had the perfect texture (aptly moist) and richness (not too sweet); We used salted butter, though. We also added a tiny bar of chocolate in each cupcake for that oozing goodness and it made it all the better. Be careful to only fill the ramekins or cupcake pans up to 2/3 to make room for the batter to expand. This is our go-to recipe now!

    The instructions worked out really well and the flavour worked great next time I may add less butter (because it tasted REALLY buttery, though it could’ve been my measurements that were wrong too. All in all, really easy to make and tasted great!

    I used a large cupcake pan for baking as I do not have ramekins. The first time I baked them for 16 min. The cakes were delicious and rich with deep chocolate flavor but no lava center. Due to the smaller size of the cakes I tried again baking for 10 min. Much better results but still a little overbaked for a lava cake. Next time I will use a tip I saw on food network and bake at 425 degrees for 4-6? min. yield 8 cakes
