- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- 12 ice cream sandwiches (I used a generic brand from Winco)
- 1 cool whip (tub of, thawed)
- 1 pkg. Jell-O Gelatin (of cherry, 3oz)
- maraschino cherries (to garnish as desired, optional)
