These were a perfect last-minute desert. Super easy! I added cranberries and walnuts to the mix for sweetness and crunch. In a convection oven, they baked up soft and chewy in about twenty minutes. Delicious!

I doubled the recipe, used a 9x13 pan, and substituted dark chocolate chips. Was a good recipe. Next time I will add walnuts and use a 11x16 pan to make it more cookie-ish and less cake-like. Overall good recipe.

I used leftover choc chips so I didn’t have enough to do the drizzle on top but I think they turned out just fine - chewy, gooey and yummy! I gave it 4 stars because I’m partial to my mother-in-law’s bar recipe, sorry!

Made these today, they were super easy and super yummy. I had to bake mine for a bit longer, but totally worth it!
