- 3/4 cup margarine spread (trans fat free soft tub, or butter)
- 2 large egg whites (I used 1 egg)
- 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 15 oz. chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (I used a mixture of white, milk and dark chips)
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt (I omitted this)

I processed the drained chickpeas before adding to batter as my kids may not like chunks of them.
