This cake is so delish! However, I would skip the rum altogether if you're not a rum fan. I am not a drinker so the rum was overpowering the chocolate mousse. My fiance' is a big cannoli fan so he loved this cake. He too struggled with the rum flavor and he is a fan of rum and whiskey. The brownie layer is amazing. To save time I purchased the mocha brownie mix and it was a great combo with the cannoli cheescake and also helped to take away much of the rum taste. My best advice would be to be generous with the whipped cream or pair the cake with ice cream to mask the rum. Or just leave it out altogether. :)
