- 8 oz. dark chocolate (I used Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips because they are soy-free)
- 8 Tbsp. unsalted butter (or 7 tablespoons ghee)
- 2/3 cup maple syrup
- 6 large eggs
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 4 cups almond flour (only use a finely ground flour such as Honeyville, or the cake will be crumbly)
- 2 tsp. coconut flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder (make sure it's grain-free*)
- 4 large eggs
- 1/3 cup maple syrup (or honey)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 lb. unsalted butter (softened, each stick cut into tablespoons)
- 4 oz. semisweet chocolate (melted and cooled, I used Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips)
