- 1/3 cup flour (all-purpose, maida)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour (maida)
- 3 Tbsp. sugar (see notes)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. dry yeast (instant or active-, I use and recommend Fleischmann’s)
- 2 Tbsp. milk powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/8 cup cream (or milk)
- 1/3 cup tangzhong (half of above cooked quantity)
- 25 grams unsalted butter (at room temperature)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (if making chocolate rolls)
