- chocolate (1/2 cup, I used mix of caramel chocolate, dark chocolate, and mint chocolate--- any kind of chocolate such as white or dark or milk chocolate can be used)
- sugar (Castor, 1 Tbsp)
- phyllo pastry (Sheets -- 12 sheets)
- unsalted butter (3 Tbsp)
- white sugar (1/2 cup)
- water (1/2 cup)
- cardamom pods (1 or 2)
- saffron (few strands, optional)
- chocolate syrup (2 Tbsp, optional for topping)
- caramel sauce (2 Tbsp, optional for topping)
- crushed pistachios (1 Tbsp, optional for topping)
