- 1 qt. chicken broth (about 4 cups)
- 15 oz. black beans (drained and rinsed)
- 15 oz. cannellini beans (drained and rinsed)
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce (chopped, If you prefer lots of spice, start with this amount and add more, to taste.)
- 2 sweet potatoes (large, diced into small cubes)
- 1 pinch salt (and black pepper)
