- 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1 egg white (lightly beaten)
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. white sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp. ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. Chinese rice wine (or dry sherry – this is optional)
- 3 Tbsp. arrowroot powder (or sweet potato starch powder)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh ginger (grated)
- 4 Tbsp. green onion (/scallions, thinly sliced, separate green and white parts)
- 1 tsp. chilli flakes (or dry red chilil powder, /pepper)
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced (into thin strips)
- 1 red bell pepper (sliced into thin strips)
- 4 Tbsp. olive oil (to pan-fry the chicken)
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil (to sauté veggies)
- 1 tsp. toasted sesame oil (before serving, optional)
