Very good, and my advice for the people that say it needs extra cornstarch, I just let it cook longer and let it reduce down to desired thickness. Plus the longer it cooks the more flavor it seems to have. I also tried variations such as adding minced ginger, oyster sauce, and green onion. Also if you want to make it a bit spicy add some cayenne or pepper flakes. I love this as a dip for dumplings, and as a stir fry sauce.

It turned out very good, however it does need a little more corn starch and I also added a little more brown sugar. As well I added a little seasoning salt to my beef for added flavor.

Delicious sauce, would be 5 stars but I did need to add a second batch of starch to thicken, plus a dash of ginger and 2 drops of fish sauce to get the flavor just right
