- 14 oz. straw mushrooms (sliced in half)

- 1 cup chicken stock (vegan, or vegetable stock)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce (or tamari)
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. minced ginger
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. sesame oil
- 2 pieces spring onions (sliced, white part only)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
