Description
Want a super-fast way to add excitement to a simple dinner? The lively Latin American herb, lemon, and chili sauce known as chimichurri adds punch to any steak, fish, shrimp, chicken, or vegetables you want to spoon it over. Even better, it takes all of 10 minutes to create. To quickly prep the herbs, just chop off any tough ends, then measure them tender stems and all, loosely packed. The recipe, which makes about 3/4 cup, is a Yummly original created by Rima Kleiner, MS, RDN.

Directions
- Zest and juice the lemon and put zest and juice in the bowl of a food processor.
- Add parsley, cilantro, 5 Tbsp. olive oil, the garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Pulse chimichurri until blended, stopping once to scrape down the processor bowl with a rubber scraper, and leaving the sauce with a little texture. Add more olive oil if you’d like it looser. Taste and add a little more salt if you like.
- Serve chimichurri, or chill it airtight up to 2 days (the bright color will fade somewhat).
