Simple recipe that yields a delicious product. Don’t let the hot sauce or spices frighten you. It actually doesn’t pack much of a bite. The spices/sauces blend harmoniously to accentuate the tofu. The crisping/searing of the tofu was the biggest task in this recipe. It makes two adult-sized portions. FYI: The sauce thickens/reduces incredibly quickly. Don’t turn your back.

This recipe was delicious. I added jalapeno pepper with the Sriracha because I like more heat, but the sauce is very good.

mine was salty from the soy sauce. The recipe should not include salt as well as soy sauce- even if the soy sauce is low sodium. Aside from mine being salty and I could not eat much of it, I think I will try it again next time, adding salt after cooking if needed.

The breading on the tofu didn't work (I used cornmeal) so I think next time I'll use flour instead. Other than that it was really delicious and pretty easy to make.

Good and quick recipe! Cooked the tofu and the onions/peppers for longer than suggested and used more oil. I agree its more salty than spicy. If you like spicy food add more hot sauce and red pepper flakes.

It was delicious. I was out of bell peppers so I used pickled jalapeños. I like spicy food but this was not spicy to me, just tasty. Slightly salty but I usually don't use salt in my cooking.

Served over rice with freshly cut tomatoes, sour cream and green onions. It is really fresh, really tasty! It changes from the classic ways of eating tofu!

Very good if you like savory. Definitely prefer to bake over fry. I added an extra 5 minutes and the tofu was perfect.

Delicious! I love having new things to do with tofu. My husband loved it. So that makes me even happier with the recipe.
