- 3 lb. cheddar cheese low-fat (shredded)
- 25 oz. green chiles (chopped, canned, undrained)
- diced tomatoes (for topping, optional)

- Prepare macaroni according to package instructions.
- Drain the pasta in a colander and rinse with cold water.
- Drain well.
