- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar (or 1 teaspoon cream of tartar)

- 2 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. baking soda (sifted)
- fresh cilantro (minced, for garnish, optional)
- freshly ground pepper (to taste)
