As many other reviewers have said, the end product tastes amazing, but the patties seem to inevitably fall apart in the skillet. The recipe could use more detailed instructions.

They didn’t really hold together even after adding an egg as a binding agent, but they tasted awesome!

They taste good! I used sweet onion and only put 1/4 tsp of salt (gotta watch my sodium intake). It was sweet and flavorful - I also used cumin instead of turmeric because that’s what I had on hand. I did twice the batch but it came out too mush - added in 30cc of all purpose flour and helped a bit but still didn’t stay together. So I balked them till they were decently hard. Maybe the chickpea to onion ratio was off? Maybe we need a size of the onion or cups of chopped onion or maybe a weight to go with it?

Taste was great but patties fall apart. I added like 3T GF flour and very finely chopped walnuts. Then they worked just fine.

Patties fall apart after one side is already crisp. I must have done something wrong.

Love the taste! Too wet this first time but will try again. We added grilled onions on top after.

I made 2 batches because the first ones completely fell apart but the flavor is amazing!!
I added Cheyenne pepper and cilantro instead of parsley because that’s what I had. The second batch I added flax and some old fashioned oats and they held together—- also delicious! A larger size made a great chickpea burger !!
You can use canned chickpeas to cut down on cooking time. I dressed mine with cilantro and had them with a side salsa, Sriracha and a cilantro lime sauce — with corn tortillas, and fresh spinach. Great light fast easy dinner; definitely will make these again and change up the spices for variety.

I actually always made a very similar recipe with tuna instead of chickpeas. I notice that the consistency was not going to hold so I added an egg as well as a little almond flour and they turn out just great. I had them on a side of rice and then side of salad. Great each time. I also figured that if making them larger they are also perfect hamburger patties!!!

I read the reviews about these falling apart. I didn’t adjust anything and mine didn’t hold either. That doesn’t matter to me as we loved the taste. Really good for such simple ingredients and will be making them again soon. Glad I tried them.

I made it with 1,5 cups Chickpea and got 7 pieces . Also I have added 2 eggs to avoid crumblings mentioned in the previous reviews. Is delicious

Mine also fell apart the first time that I made them. I added breadcrumbs, crushed walnuts, and nutritional yeast the next time, they were great! I over mix each time but like it that way!

My patties fell apart like the other two reviewers. That being said, my food processor was broken and I had to use my vitamix. Definitely, recommend using a food processor because in the recipe it does state not to over blend the mixture. Hard not to over blend in a mixer. When all was said and done, I spread the warm mix over a toasted peiced of Italian bread, little bit of hot sauce and it was really tasty. So for flavors this recipe is a four...but don't expect formed patties unless you can make miracles happen.

Tasted good but fell apart and I even added an egg to keep it together. Won’t make this again.
