This was a very delicious gumbo. Made a Dutch oven full and it’s about gone! I did make a few changes. I’ve made plenty of roux in the past, but I cheated and used a roux from a jar. A very delicious, no one will know it’s from a jar, roux! I also didn’t have the garlic sea salt, so I combined powder garlic and sea salt together. Followed directions to the letter except when I sautéed the the vegetables I added 2 tablespoons of butter after removing the andouille sausage, added the vegetables and cooked for 5 minutes, then added 8 oz of the roux. From that point I continued with the recipe. It turned out as good as the picture looked! Husband had two bowlfuls! Son working on his second helping. A gumbo that tastes like my husbands Cajun aunt makes!
