- 6 boneless chicken breasts (– cut horizontally into cutlets)
- 2 cups buttermilk (I made my own by adding 4 tablespoons of white vinegar to 2 cups of milk. Let sit for 5 minutes then prepare recipe as follows)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 4 cups flour
- 4 Tbsp. Creole seasoning (Tony Charchere’s Original)
- 2 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 Tbsp. paprika
- salt
- pepper
- oil (for frying, I use canola)
- 1/4 cup pan drippings (from fried chicken)
- 5 Tbsp. flour
- 2 cups chicken stock (or broth)
- 1/2 cup milk
- salt
- pepper
