The flavor is good. Wish it was a little creamier which i know what i need to do for next time. I would make this again. : )

Made this for Christmas Day, and it was a big hit. Some family members are not fond of mushrooms so I left those and the cream of mushroom soup out. It was just as good. I also made the roux with 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup flour to make it creamier.

This soup is a winner! I didn’t use wine or butter/flour roux but sautéed vegetables in a bit of olive oil

Loved this recipe! This soup was absolutely delicious, but a little bit salty for my taste. Next time I’ll try using low sodium chicken broth instead.
