- 5 Roma tomatoes (quartered)
- 4 tomatillos (quartered)
- 1 sweet onion (large, chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. garlic (chopped, about 3-4 cloves)
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. chipotle peppers (chopped, & 1-2 Tablespoons adobo sauce from a 7-oz can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, I tried the entire can as her recipe suggested and it was way too hot to eat)
- 2 cups chicken broth (+ enough water to cover, added)
