It was really good and flavorful. I added some additional broth and teaspoon of “Better than Broth”.

SO GOOD! i ended up throwing in some dumplings but really it would have been fine without them too. the flavor was so much better than i expected from such a simple recipe. even my picky, never agrees on any food family all loved it! i liberally peppered before serving and added a few more carrots and celery in the last 10 min because my clan likes crisp veggies. oh and i used only 1 onion... more than enough i thought.

I make this quite a bit. The only difference is that I add ditalini pasta to mine. I’m Italian and we serve this with grated Parmesan cheese. Yummy!

I really like this soup. I used only 1 onion and I think next time I will add potatoes. Overall very tasty, sweet and felt homie.

I made this last night for dinner and followed the recipe as stated, however, it came out very thick, more like a stew than soup. So I decided to add 1/2 of a potato (diced) and made dumplings using Bisquick. I dropped dumplings on top of stew and voila my version of chicken and dumplings. It was absolutely delicious, had a great flavor. So tonight, I made it again to serve with the left over dumplings. Next time I will double the recipe.

I used butternut squash broth so I don’t actually know how it was supposed to turn out but I have never made soup before and I am pretty satisfied with the turnout :-)

This soup was amazing! I made a fee modifications. First off I made 10 cups of broth. Because I added 2potatoes, a large flourette of broccoli and chickpeas and baby corn. I also added garlic when when I sautéed the veggies. Absolutely wonderful after coming home from working outside all day!

I am going to make it again very soon since I was unavoidably distracted at the last 2 steps. I let the soup boil/ simmer too long after I added the noodles. I think that accounted for the extreme peppery taste and mushy noodles. I did end up adding more water but nothing could compensate for the mushy noodles. I never added noodle in the ast. I would put them in at serving time because I always thought the noodles would be too soft. In this case it had to be from the over cooking at end. Will report when I make it again and bery soon!!!
I still hD to give it a 5 since I can tell the tadte is what I would be looking for or I wouldn't bother remaking it.

Wow this is some of the best chicken soup. I made to twice now one with and without egg noodles. Both times I added garlic.

Was great after I added to the recipe, 1 potato, some garlic, 1/2 tsp of cumin, and a 1/4 cup of cilantro. I will definitely do it again, but I will also use olive oil instead of butter. I like the flavor of Mexican chicken soup..

I always use this recipe and add 1/2 teaspoon each of salt, oregano, thyme, and pepper. I also add 1 teaspoon of garlic and 1 tablespoon dried parsley

It was really good! If I were to make it again, I would definitely add some potaotes or noodles, though.
