- 10 whole cloves
- 10 whole star anise
- 2 inches fresh ginger (piece of, peeled and thinly sliced)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 boneless chicken breasts (about 2 pounds, You can also use bone-in breasts with skin removed)
- 6 oz. rice noodles (either amount and wide or thin is fine)
- 6 cups bok choy (chopped)
- 2 cups fresh basil (leaves)
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup cilantro leaves (fresh, sometimes called coriander)
- 1 serrano chili (fresh, thinly sliced)
- 1 lime (cut into wedges)
