This was a good recipe but needs some improvements. I added some Italian seasoning to the tomato sauce to give it more flavor rather than the taste of canned tomato sauce. Secondly, thawed chicken breast would have been much better. While using frozen would be perfect for a quick meal when you forgot to thaw out something for dinner (which I’m always guilty of) it really did a disfavor for this dish. The chicken was dry and hard in parts while other parts were questionable if it was cooked all the way. It cooked very uneven and I checked it with a digital meat thermometer. It took closer to an hour to reach proper internal temp. I would definitely make this recipe again but with thawed chicken breasts and seasoning of the canned tomato sauce.
