Description
This dish is SO delicious. I've had this recipe bookmarked for years, but I never got around to making it. I am kicking myself for not trying this sooner. It is SOOOOO GOOD! The best part of this dish is that it is incredibly simple to make. It requires not marinating or prep. Just sprinkle the seasoning on the chicken, cook and add cream. It takes about 15 minutes total. You can't beat that! I like to serve this over angel hair pasta, but it would also be good with mashed potatoes. Next time we are going to try a combination of half chicken and half andouille sausage. I can't wait! Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 lb. chicken tenders
- 1/4 cup butter (divided)
- 2 cups heavy cream
Directions
- Combine salt, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle over both sides of chicken tenders. In large saute pan, melt half of the butter over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken tenders until done, about 8 minutes. Pour the cream and remaining butter into the skillet. Lower heat and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
