This was HORRIBLE. Followed recipe exactly and it was just awful. The coating did not fry well in canola oil at all and was sticking to the pan which obviously caused it to just fall off the cube steak. I would not recommend this. Didn’t even try to make the gravy after the steak disaster.

Delicious recipe. The husband and the family gave it 4 stars. Used the batter on a zucchini patty for the vegetarians in the house. Yumm

Excellent recipe. I researched long and hard before settling on this one, and it did me and my family right. Everyone was happy from age 4, 6, 15, 17, 31, and 37. Definitely recommend this recipe, but double up if your household is as big as ours.
