- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. saffron
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 6 eggs (boiled and shelled, optional)
- 1 jalapeno (sliced into 8 wedges optional for extra spicy **)
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1 yellow onions (medium, finely diced)
- 2 tomatoes (diced)
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt

This aromatic dish was a true culinary adventure, with each bite bursting with a medley of flavors and spices. However, I would like to share a couple of recommendations to further enhance the overall experience.
First and foremost, when preparing the chicken for the biryani, it is crucial to season it properly before placing it in the marinade.
Additionally, I highly recommend adding a pinch of salt, freshly ground black pepper, lemon juice, and a dash of roasted cumin powder to the raita to enhance its taste.

i used to try and make biriyani on the stove top with little success. always too burned or undercooked. With this recipe, the biryani comes out so flavorful and so easy. its become a frequent meal 😀
