Description
This is the Campbell Family Chicago Deep Dish Pizza recipe. Takes a while but is worth the wait.
Ingredients

4 SERVINGS
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup beer
- 1/2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
- 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 1/2 cups bread flour
- 1/2 cup semolina (or Regular Flour)
- 6 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 Tbsp. salted butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 cans stewed tomatoes (Italian, drained)
- 1/2 jar spaghetti sauce (Prego)
- 2 cloves garlic

Directions
- Mix Water, beer, yeast, and sugar. Let rest 5 Minutes.
- Add 2 cups bread flour, mix for five minutes on a dough hook or with your hands.
- Add remaining flour, plus shortening, salt, butter. Mix until ball is formed. Dough should be wet, but not stick to hands.
