This recipe is definitely a keeper. I have been trying for years to find a cookie recipe that yields cookies that are soft in the middle (without being underdone) while ever so delicately crispy on the edges, and THIS IS THE ONE. The snickers pair excellently with the cookie and the cookies make excellent ice cream sandwiches. Next time I will try chilling the dough before I bake the cookies.
My only complaint is that it took me a while to put together.
Update: this is my fourth time making the recipe (without the snickers so they’re just regular) add in 1/4tsp of baking powder to ensure they don’t spread too much or if you want to stuff a truffle in the middle, switch the baking soda for baking powder entirely
