Amazing recipe! It said to use 1 1/4 cup of butter OR margarine so I decided on almost a cup butter and the rest margarine (which was exactly the right choice!!!). These had a great slightly crispy outside with a nice chewy center. They aren't overly sweet but also not bland in the least. All in all, these are perfect sugar cookies. This recipe makes MORE than enough to fill one of the tupperware tubs of premade cookie dough.

This recipe is easy to follow. The cookies were some of the best sugar cookies I've ever eaten, my family gobbled them up. I used a tiny cookie scoop and made several dozen from this recipe; they didn't stand a chance!

My go-to recipe! So good! I also love these with a little grated lemon rind in the batter.

So I made the recipe exactly as it was written and the dough was too liquidity to form into balls.. I tried to add a little more flour but I didn’t want to over do it. I am baking a portion of the dough to see if it forms.. it honestly looks like a sugar cookie cake.. SMH!!

These were the best Sugar Cookies I've ever made. I made these at Christmas time, with Egg and Powder sugar icing and crushes strawberry candy canes. It was a huge hit! Definitely recommend you try this recipe. :)

Cookies came out good. I added some lime juice and lime zest for a different twist. I also reduced the sugar by 1/4 cup too. I froze half the cookie dough for later.

Made 28 nice size sugar cookies, 15 med size pnut butter cookies and a dozen mini pnut butter cups that we like to add a piece of Lindt chocolate or Reese’s piece, etc. in the center for a burst of inner goodness. 😋 very nice recipe! (All from 1 batch)

Just what I was looking for! A fast sugar cookie with a great buttery flavor and a nice chewy texture!

Loved this recipe! They really do come out chewy yet super soft, they almost fall apart in your hand. Definitely a favorite! I rolled mine in sugar and cinnamon and sprinkled some cinnamon on top after they baked. Baked for 10 minutes and they came out perfect!
