- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup honey (may sub corn syrup or agave)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups quick cooking oats
- 1 cup cereal (granola, cheerios or rice krispies work great)
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup roasted peanuts (chopped)
- 1/4 cup wheat germ (mix-ins of your choice such as:, dried fruits like cranberries, apricots, cherries, or raisins; chopped nuts like pecans, walnuts or almonds; seeds like sunflower, sesame, pumpkin or flax seeds; even fun additions like pretzel or graham cracker pieces, white chocolate chips, shredded coconut flakes, M&M's, or candy pieces, optional)
