- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 12 Tbsp. butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups cocoa powder (I used this dark cocoa powder)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (I used these bittersweet chocolate chips)
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder (I just used regular cocoa for the frosting, not the dark, but either would be good I'm sure)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup milk (plus more as needed)
- 1 pinch salt

AMAZING! I didn’t make the brownies, I just needed a frosting recipe. This was the best chocolate frosting I’ve ever had and my mom, dad, and sister loved it. Tastes even better than store bought!

So yummy. Just the right amount of gooey deliciousness. Made them for the long weekend but they were gone the first day. Everyone loved them!

I will admit, I did not make the actual brownie. I was in need of a quick and awesome brownie frosting recipe and this was one of the first ones I saw, and let me tell you, THIS IS THE BEST FROSTING RECIPE EVER. It taste like it came out of the pillsbury frosting can, NO JOKE. Every time I need a chocolate frosting I will use this recipe!
