- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup honey (preferably raw, unrefined)
- 1/2 tsp. liquid (stevia extract)
- 1/4 cup applesauce (unsweetened)
- 2 cups zucchini (pelaed and finely shredded)
- 1 cup spelt flour (or whole wheat flour)
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder (Dutch processed makes the chewier)
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (your choice depending on your health goals)
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Very moist and delicious. More like a rich chocolate cake. Used gluten free flour and no stevia. Will be using this recipe often.

This turned out great- although I'll admit I didn't use Stevia. Moist and chocolatey but not spongey like a lot of applesauce recipes.
