  • 1 bunch basil (about 10 to 12 leaves, roughly chopped)
  • 4 garlic cloves (very thinly sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

    My husband absolutely loved it. i didnt use spinach tho he's not a fan of it. definitely will make it again.

    It was very easy to make since I had cooked leftover spaghetti and almost all the ingredients at hand. Also I added pasta sauce, dried thyme, frozen spinach, and used hot sauce instead of a chili pepper.

    Nice and simple. The only thing I would change is I would put the basil on fresh once it's been plated - I found that the basil really shrivelled up (literally) and so did it's awesome flavour when I put it in the pasta bowl and stirred it in. Ok one more thing - I would add some olive oil to the sauce when adding the pasta water). Good recipe - thank you for sharing!
