I read a number of the reviews before making this. I made it as THE meal, not a side. I sautéed some garlic with fresh oregano in the pot with olive oil before making the quinoa in it. Keeping it in a small dish and adding it just before the cheese. As someone recommended, I added sunflowers for crunch. Otherwise it’s like eating sticky mush. I also added fresh thyme and parsley because I had it in the garden.
If I were to do it over, I would put the broth in the pot first, then the quinoa, and then the broccoli and not stir it. Some of the quinoa on top and sides didn’t get done at the same time as the ones on the bottom. And my kid tells me I need to make this again…

Very good and easy. Used 2 cups broth and some vegan cheese alongside cheddar, also added minced garlic.

Quick and easy to make, maybe I'll add more seasoning next time. A tad bit bland for my liking, but a nice easy side to wipe up quickly.

good fresh alternative to the boxed rice sidedishes-probably takes equal the amount of time to fix either and this is fresher.

Prettt good. I used chicken broth which was yummy but should have used medium or mild cheddar not sharp cheddar. Would be good with some chicken in it as well.

It was edible. I didnt have enpugh cheddar so I improvised and added mozzarella cheese too. I definitely will use cheddar only next time.

Excellent! Easy and tasty, as promised! Great for a busy week-night dish.

It was good! I added some leftover chicken to make it a bit more filling. it was a bit like macaroni and cheese, which is my favorite ☺ however, it definitely needed more liquid than the recipe said, I ended up adding the broth, plus an additional cup and a half of water.

Really good. My husband has been hesitant to eat quinoa...but he loved this one!

Loved it! Although, I did add 4 cloves of garlic. I would definitely make this again!

As someone who cook both of these foods quite often I was very disappointed with this recipe. It came out bitter and quite sour. This could have been from a multitude of factors. Either way, this will not be a repeat dish.

It was good but a little tasteless, i’d try again but add some onion or something like this to add more flavor
