Description
A twist on a traditional Mexican treat. Taste the velvety smoothness of cheese, mixed with the sweet flavor of caramelized sugar. The decorations are a breeze to make, and they are edible as well. Perfect for taco night.
Ingredients

- 1 can condensed milk
- milk (equal to the amount of condensed milk)
- 1 pkg. queso fresco
- 5 eggs
- 5 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 drops lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. water

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
- Heat the sugar, water, and lemon together in a saucepan until a caramel sauce is formed. Reserve a small amount and coat the bottom of a flan mold with the rest. Drizzle the reserved caramel sauce onto parchment paper to form decorations.
- Combine the condensed and regular milk with the crumbled cheese and add the eggs. Pour into the caramelized mold and set in the oven in a water bath. Bake until firm.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before removing from the mold. Place the caramel decorations on top before serving.
