I found the directions on this quite unclear. It said to add all the ingredients to the food processor, which I did. But then it said to brush the batons with the whisked egg. So, should the egg not have gone into the pastry? And how thick should one roll the pastry out?
I rolled mine out approximately 1cm and tried it with all the toppings. They all taste great, but prefer the sesame seeds. I made ours with cheddar cheese.
They were easy to make and taste great.
Two days after making these I am disappointed that they are already tasting stale, despite being store in an air tight container. These are best eaten immediately.
