It was a pretty easy to make. We all liked it. It just wasn't enough for all 4 of us. I added shredded rotisserie chicken to it and it was delicious. I may double the recipe next time.

Skipped the flour and went with half heavy cream and half milk. Turned out just as creamy

Nice base for adding ingredients to. I added 1/2 C. shrimp & crab meats, 1 bunch chopped green onions, Substituted Italian Bread Crumbs and then added 4-Mirlitons (Chayote Squash---Alligator Pears) Boil the mirlitons and scoop out meat, chorsely chop add the onions to the saucepan with the flour. Follow remaining cooking instructions. You can put this in a casserole dish or you can stuff into large Itialian pasta shells sprinkle with bread crumbs and cheese then bake in casserole dish.

This is one of my favorite dishes. But the primary reasons I'm submitting my response is that this particular dish is the only one that is sharing the directions (how to make it).How do I see more direction of other dishes?
