- 60 grams sugar (I used golden demerara)
- 30 grams cold water
- zest (Finely grated, a fresh lime, optional)
- 2 sticks lemongrass (fresh, optional)
- 2 fresh lime (each cut into eight pieces)
- 2 passion fruit (fresh, cut in half & removing seeds, pulp & juice)
- 2 lychees (fresh, peeled, stone removed & chopped, for Mocktail)
- 20 mL sugar syrup
- 50 mL cachaça (or white rum or vodka)
- ice cubes (freshly made)
- 1 lime (into a glass & carefully press down with a wooden spoon to release the juice, known as muddling)
- 1 passionfruit (& stir)
- ice (optional)
- lime wedge (optional)
- lemongrass (optional)
